Beach House Self Catering - Terms & Conditions

Deposit and Payment

A non refundable £100 deposit is required at time of booking to confirm reservation. The balance & £100 refundable 'Good Houskeeping' bond is required no less than 30 days prior to arrival. If a booking is made less than 8 weeks prior to arrival the full rent must be paid at time of booking.

We regret no bookings accepted from under 18's or solely large male/female groups (unless agreed with proprietors).

Times of Letting

The house will be let from 2pm on day of arrival and the tenancy ends at 10am on day of departure. The tenants will be liable for any costs of whatsoever nature incurred because of an unauthorised extension.

Tenants Obligations

You are expected to take good care of the property and leave the house in the same clean and tidy condition as when you arrived. There will be a charge for any losses/breakages and if any additional cleaning is required the refundable bond will be adjusted accordingly.

You are not to part with possession of the property, or share it, except with the members of the party on the booking form. The property must no be sub-let.

Hatfield Crescent is a mix of home owners and holiday let properties therefore the privacy and quiet of all must be respected at all times. Should this not be adhered to and if the tenant interferes with the comfort and enjoyment of the neighbours, occupants will be required to leave without their refundable deposit.

Discounts

A discount of 5% will be available to those wishing to re-book the house if their previous rental was within the last 18 months.

Method of Payment

Payments may be made by cheque or cash. Cash should be sent by recorded delivery post.

Non-availablility of property

If for any reason beyond our control the property is unavailable on the date booked, all monies received in advance will be refunded, but no further claims against the proprietors will be applicable.

Liability

The proprietors cannot accept responsibility or liability for any personal injury sustained by any person or damage to, or loss of any property brought to the premises.

Pets

Only well behaved /trained dogs are permitted in the garden area and the ground floor of the house only. No dogs upstairs. A weekly charge of £30 will be made for each pet.

Linen

Linen is changed between tenancies and weekly during tenancies. Bath towels will be provided but beach towels must be brought by yourselves.

Holiday Insurance

It is advisable to take out holiday insurance to cover cancellation after a booking has been made. No refunds can be made unless the proprietors are able to re-let the property.

Inventory

Any discrepancies are to be reported within 24 hours of arrival otherwise the inventory will be deemed to be correct.
